ABOUT ME

Scott A. Meehan is a retired army major, an author, and a middle school teacher. He writes fiction and non-fiction stories based on his 25 years of military experience and a world traveling tour of more than 20 different countries.

Scott is fueled by his passion for understanding the nuances of cross-cultural, diverse storytelling. He considers himself a life-learner and teacher with ongoing professional development to build on his academic foundations in education, information management, business, and the military.

His determination to turn life experiences and educational knowledge into action has contributed to his most recent successes as an author and as a teacher at Windy Ridge K8 Academic School of Excellence. He is currently taking courses in the Gifted program and building the curriculum for the new Business Technology program at Windy Ridge, which will begin in 2021.

Scott believes that education through experience and solid programs being taught in the live and virtual classroom is key to success, a tenet he lives out by his interests in writing, teaching, caring, and storytelling.

Scott is currently writing his latest novel and is always interested in creating a challenging and thought provoking story.
